Description

Two teams start at opposite ends of the playing field that has lots of cover. Somewhere in the playing field is a safe that must be located. The first team to find it must work as a team to protect it while one of the players attempts to crack it. The winning team is the one who opens the safe.

Setup

1. Hide the safe in the play area.
2. Describe the objective of the game to the players.
3. Divide the players into two teams.
4. Have the teams go to opposite ends of the play area.
5. Enable the taggers.
6. Blow horn to start the game.

Objective

Work as a team to crack the safe and protect the safe cracker once you have located the safe.

Tips

Keep the number of life points low to encourage survival and some realism.

There are toy safes that require you to solve a puzzle before opening (search for "spy safe cracker" for example)

If you use a real safe then you need to communicate the combination somehow, example clues hidden in the field like a treasure hunt, or as a puzzle in a mission paper you hand out.
